UCEC Vision
At UCEC, we create a safe space for children to learn at their own pace. Providing innovative education and advocacy for children to learn, work, and explore is the fiber of our brand. We believe in the “Learner-Centered” educational approach and provide core curriculum activities that are aligned around the learner’s strengths and interests. We foster an environment to establish critical thinking and independent learning skills for a productive and successful life. Our services will include a residential treatment home for Child Protective Service (CPS) wards, abused and neglected children who will be empowered to grow up to be happy, confident, productive, caring, and critical thinking adults. UCEC is an advocate for tomorrow’s future. We put children first.
UCEC Core Values
Respect – Considerate to everyone. UCEC encourages respect to increase the value of a child’s learning experience. Learning to listen to one another and to be present in the conversation. By affirming people’s opinions, UCEC values different perspectives while learning to disagree respectfully. UCEC staff and contractors are mindful of each other’s feelings. Recognize the value in apologizing and avoiding disrespectful behavior thus we call out and constructively redirect disrespectful behaviors.
